Public schools in Marco Island and Naples are operated by The District School Board of Collier County. The District operates five high schools, eight middle schools and 21 elementary schools. All Florida schools are required to have students take the Florida Comprehensive Achievement Tests (FCAT). This evaluates the performance of Florida schools and provides a measure of competency for Florida students. Besides public schools, Community School, Seacreast Country Day School and many Christian Schools are just some of the excellent choices for private education.

The nation’s newest four year university, offering undergraduate and graduate programs in Arts & Sciences, Business, Education, Health Professsions and Professional Studies.
