Almost any Gulf Coast town in Florida can boast beaches, but few can equal the Marco Island sugar sand beaches. Here is a guide to our favorite beaches on Marco Island and neighboring Naples.
Fleishmann Park is located at 1600 Fleischmann Blvd. This park was sold to the City by Julius Fleischmann, who was a local developer. Fleischmann Park is Approximately 15 acres. On these 15 acres you will find the following facilities available for public use: 2 meeting rooms, game room, restrooms, 8 lighted racquetball courts, lighted baseball field, 2 lighted Little League fields, 3 lighted sand volleyball courts, 2 lighted basketball courts, lighted football / soccer field, lighted skate park, lighted playground , lighted horseshoe courts, 2 picnic shelters, open play area, and ample parking. One of two public beaches on Marco Island, located at the south tip of the Island, with access on Collier Blvd. acroww from Swallow Ave. Parking in lot off Swallow.
And Fishing Pier – The closest beach to downtown Naples, the beach at the pier is very popular with Neapolitans. The pier was built in 1988 and rebuilt three times after hurricanes damaged it. Restroom facilities are available and there is a small concession stand about midway down the pier.

There are 31 acres of natural environment and beach amenities. There are restrooms, a bathhouse, five boardwalks, a picnic area, playground, sand volleyball court and a butterfly garden. Parking spaces total 210. A unique feature of this beach is the sandbar that is becoming a new barrier island called Sand Dollar Island. Changes are evident on an annual basis.
